Supeet Singh Jasani – Security Analyst

Supreet Jasani consults as a Network Operations Center (NOC) Specialist for IBM in Mississauga, Canada. In this capacity, Mr. Jasani monitors the company’s Intelligent Printer Data Stream (IPDS) and works with BMC Software, Inc.’s PATROL application. He also works with customers and clients, creating service tickets and directing them to the appropriate departments. Supreet Jasani previously worked in IBM’s office in Markham, Canada, as a Network Analyst, monitoring sites in conjunction with HP OpenView and IBM Tivoli Framework, including Netcool. 
In addition to his responsibilities at IBM, Supreet Jasani also serves as a Security Analyst for The Herjavec Group (THG). The rapidly growing Canadian technology company provides networking and security services for companies around the world. THG’s services include wide area network (WAN) acceleration, e-mail security, intrusion prevention technologies, and more. These services emerged from the firm’s original inception as a Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. firewall vendor.
Supreet Jasani began honing his technical skills as a student at CMC Academy in New Delhi, India. In December 2001, Mr. Jasani earned his diploma in Advanced Software Technology from CMC. He then continued his education at the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), where he studied computer applications. After completing five of six semesters in the program, Mr. Jasani moved to Toronto, Canada, and enrolled in the Computer Networking and Technical Support program at Seneca College. In August 2008, he earned his two-year diploma.
While pursuing his training, Supreet Jasani supported himself through several information technology-oriented jobs. While studying at IGNOU, he worked as a trainer at the Institute of Animation & Networking Training (IANT) and a Technical Support Executive for the international IT services firm Wipro. Then, while studying at Seneca College, he served as a Lab Assistant, helping undergraduate students in Linux courses. Along with his academic achievements, Supreet Jasani is a Cisco Certified Network Associate and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
